Kids Need Kiwanis

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

As proud members of Kiwanis International since 2016, we focus on supporting children and families through community service. In 2018, we created the Kiwanis Club of Bluffton Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to enhance educational initiatives.

Our support extends both financially and with volunteer efforts to organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bluffton & HardeevilleBluffton Self HelpAgape Family CenterRed Cedar & Hardeeville Elementary Schools,  May River High School Key Club, the 14th Circuit Victims Service CenterHabitat for Humanity of LowcountryHardeeville Recreation Center, along with other local groups.

Our main fundraising events include the Online Auction, Jazz Night, Savannah Bananas, and Dancing with the Local Stars. We also launched the Kiwanis Campaign to Comfort Children (KCCC), a signature service project that provides security blankets to at-risk young children.

The upcoming 2024-2025 year will be especially exciting as our new satellite club becomes its own independent Kiwanis Club in August.

Our Main Club in Bluffton meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday for a dinner meeting starting at 5:45 PM at Jim N' Nicks BBQ in Bluffton. Our former satellite club in Hardeeville is now the Chartered Kiwanis Club of Hardeeville/Jasper County and meets on the 2nd Wednesday at 6 PM at the Hardeeville Rec Center.
